Cambered Jibbing

The Spectrum is our park board for those who prefer the feel of camber. Positive camber combined with the Carbonbon layup of carbon fibre stringers underfoot delivers revved-up ollies and extra control, but we’ve dialled the spectrum in at 6 out of 10 on the stiffness scale, meaning it’s a jibber’s best friend, allowing flexed presses with a playful nature. Also loaded with a jibber’s other best friend, our Rubber Dampeners will help absorb impacts and help protect the sidewalls.

INGREDIENTS

  • CARBONBON

    Pure carbon fiber slabs placed in a cross pattern under the inserts between the base and the core to enhance responsiveness, pop, torsional stiffness and amplify foot movement.

  • BIAX FIBERGLASS

    Biax fiberglass is a two-way weave of fiberglass with strands running every 90-degrees. It’s more forgiving, easier to flex and highly versatile for all terrain types.

  • POP WOODCORE

    Arranged with premium strips of poplar for a lightweight and smooth flex with added beech hardwood stringers tip to tail through the inserts for power transfer and durability.

  • EXTRUDED BASE 4800

    Extruded low-density running base material accepts wax well and absorbs blunt shocks extra.

  • BELT FINISH

    The belt finish gets your base optimized before it’s fully waxed.

  • PROGRESSIVE SIDECUT

    Our progressive sidecut design blends many radii and smooth contact points for buttery smooth turn initiation, edge-to-edge transition and edge hold. It’s different for each model and matches the sidecut to the board’s specific camber profile.

  • IMPACT DAMPENING

    A vibration dampening rubber used between the steel edge and the sidewall. Absorbs impacts only to a very small degree, its main purpose is to act as an adhesion layer between the edge and sidewall to prevent the possibility of delamination.

  • FACTORY WAXED

    All Slash boards are factory waxed with OneBallJay wax and ready to shred straight out of the wrapper.

  • TIP PROTECTORS

    Thin, light and surprisingly strong aluminum protectors that cap the base and edge at the tip and tail to protect the board from impacts.

  • KICK STAND

    Our Original Identity shape saves material and weight and also stands up without tipping over like rounded boards do!

      I had my first shot for Slash with this board.  The Slash Spectrum is perfect for park riding, although I use it a lot in the all-mountain area.  And even in the powder, the tiger’s head still sticks out.

      Great Board!!

      This Board is awesome, i am riding the Spectrum since 2 year and i love it.
      The Wide nose/tail is perfect for Butters.
      Its a playful Board which i slash in every Terrain.
