If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it! You’ll notice we’ve carried over our Vertical model from Winter 21/22. We try and roll over some models each season to help promote sustainability… we also received lots of awesome feedback from the graphic, so we thought we’d let this fine wine breathe for another year!
The Vertical is a hard charger’s best friend on all-time big mountain lines while it’ll also lay out thick, juicy carves into corduroyed pistes too. Its 3D tip floats this nose through powder like the hull of a boat and there are our Float inserts to let you set back when it’s extra deep and the tapered tail punctuates this buoyancy aid.
Be sure to check out our Split version too.
A tried and true camber profile that offers a precise feel, predictable turns, solid edge hold, suspension and powerful pop. Traditionalcamber distributes weight evenly and offers a progressive flex pattern.
Now in its 3rd year for the Vertical and debuting in the 22/23 ATV, 3D lift pulls the tip (and tail) of the board away from the snow. Heavier scoop in the Vertical’s nose for extra float and now more subtly in the ATV’s tip & tail, akin to a dog’s ears, it provides more butterability and extra float.
This is our ultimate truss of carbon, Kevlar and basalt fibers. The effect is lightness because the connecting strength of fiber allows us to slim the core’s thickness. With our strategic placement this gives certain liveliness to the board by adding response to the tips and leaving torsional softness between the feet.
Triax fiberglass is the time-tested classic. It features a three-way weave of premium fibers with strands running at 45-degree angles. It provides superior pop, consistent torsional flex, and more overall response.
Arranged with premium strips of poplar for a lightweight and smooth flex with added beech hardwood stringers tip to tail through the inserts for power transfer and durability.
Our Sintered quality base is fast, durable and requires less waxing. We believe in using the best possible materials in our boards.
We add a slight diamond-structured stone grind to the base to maximize glide and optimize durability. It eliminates the slow, suction cup feel that comes with one-dimensional base finishes.
Our progressive sidecut design blends many radii and smooth contact points for buttery smooth turn initiation, edge-to-edge transition and edge hold. It’s different for each model and matches the sidecut to the board’s specific camber profile.
This small counter radius (bump) placed in the middle of the board’s sidecut improves edge hold without creating drag or strange edge grip. It adds extra bite on ice and turns regular turns into confident carves.
The width of the nose is greater than the tail width. Tapered directional shape is usually designed to provide the best float in powder – promoting the tail to sink and the nose to rise.
An extra set of inserts set way back for those super deep days.
We build our edges with 35% more steel content than the average. They are simply stronger and more durable than the alternative.
All Slash boards are factory waxed with OneBallJay wax and ready to shred straight out of the wrapper.
Thin, light and surprisingly strong aluminum protectors that cap the base and edge at the tip and tail to protect the board from impacts
Our Original Identity shape saves material and weight and also stands up without tipping over like rounded boards do

What a charger. This board means business! I love the shape and feel. It absolutely destroys drops and technical freeride terrain and is just as fun an groomers. This board makes you feel powerful. The 3D lift at the nose is a noticeably beneficial ingredient. I love the simple yet beautiful graphic as well. The Vertical has quickly and naturally become a favorite in my quiver over the past two seasons. I highly recommend.

Got myself the 167. Such a beauty! Perfect for deep powdays and fast carves. Eventough its the longest board it‘s not sluggish at all and just feels great on the edge. Very happy with this board 🙂

Been riding 151 for a couple years (I’m 164), this board is absolutely gorgeous! It seems like it’s floating and riding itself in powder, plus you don’t get tired even after several hours (unlike freeriding on a park board), and it’s easier to land drops. Thanks to camber, stiffness, sidecut and width carving on slopes is sooo nice!
It’s pretty hard to ride in the park though, because the nose is wider than usual and it sometimes catches the kicker.

This is the board. It is so responsive in all conditions. Highly recommend this board to kill your quiver
