Every snowboard eventually picks up battle scars — delaminations, core shots, stress fractures. Most brands call that the end. We call it the beginning of something new.
Happy Snag is our initiative to repurpose old, faulty, and end-of-life Slash boards into fun, functional products for down days — think wall art, furniture accents, accessories, and more. Instead of sending a board to landfill, we give it a whole new story.

Slash snowboards are manufactured in Austria, Poland, and Tunisia — a combination of European craftsmanship and a strategic Mediterranean production partner that keeps us closer to our core markets than most snowboard brands producing in Asia.
Shorter Routes, Lower Impact
Many snowboards sold in Europe travel thousands of kilometres by ship and truck before reaching riders. Producing in Tunisia allows our boards to reach European distribution hubs through comparatively shorter transport routes across the Mediterranean. While transportation is only one part of a product’s environmental footprint, reducing unnecessary travel is a practical step toward lowering overall emissions associated with distribution.
Closer Collaboration
Geographic proximity allows our team to visit production facilities more regularly, work directly with manufacturing partners, and maintain a high level of quality control throughout the production process. Shorter travel times enable faster communication, quicker product development cycles, and stronger long-term partnerships.
We’re not chasing the cheapest option — we’re investing in quality that lasts, because a board that lasts ten seasons is always more sustainable than one that lasts two.
