What is a Slash?

The Slash has a natural presence in snowboarding. It is elementary to a skillful approach. It is to navigate with power and style. Here, the laws of nature rule in the actions of the rider.

That philosophy became our company.

Founded by Gigi Rüf, Slash Snowboards was never created simply to add another logo to the industry.

It was built to ask better questions.
To rethink shapes.
To challenge conventions.

Since the inception of Slash, our mission has been to push snowboard design forward—not simply react to where the market is going.

While we take great pride in crafting our boards and monitoring each one, small imperfections might slip out of the factory. Recognizing this, Slash backs all of its boards with a two-year warranty against any material and manufacturing defects.
